A Secondary School Student Was Tied Against A Pillar

A Senior School teacher wanted to punish a student for his misconduct. He had to use a rope to tie him to a pillar in the school compound.

It was made known that the student who was tied by the Senior teacher, was left there for several hours after he defaulted. The school name wasn’t revealed. Online users have been left in astonishment as to the kind of offense the student committed that he had to undergo such punishment.

Many people have condemned the act and have enjoined the police to investigate the matter.

The pictures were taken from a hidden spot in the school and was shared online.

There was reportedly commotion in a village in Cross river state last weekend after a gorilla living in the wild met a farmer in the bush and followed him home. It was reported that residents of Bitiah Irruan village in Boki LGA of Cross river State all gathered at the farmer’s home to witness and see the animal for themselves as many said such incident has never happened before. Trying to figure out why the gorilla followed the farmer home, some said it was possible the animal no longer had food in the bushes, so he followed the man home, hoping to get food from there. 3 Teenagers have been Caught for Sleeping With a 14-year-old girl

Three teenagers who slept with a girl of 14-year-old secondary school pupil, have been detained by men of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC). The suspects are; Osamudiamen Stephen, Osabuohien Aghimien, and Victory Osayomwan were paraded at NSCDC headquarters after the victim of the family caught them. Osabuohien, a mechanic apprentice, claimed the victim was his girlfriend, adding that he took her to the home of his friend for the night. Jamb Suspends Use of NIN for 2020 JAMB Registration

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has said it decided to suspend the use of the National Identification Number as requirements for the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and Direct Entry registration due to technical issues and stakeholders’ concerns. The UTME and DE registration is scheduled to begin on January 13 and end on February 17. Announcing this at a press conference in Abuja on Saturday, JAMB Registrar, Prof Ishaq Oloyede, said technical issues regarding the registration system at the National Identification Management Commission was a major reason for the suspension.
