Obigwe hits APC, warns electorates not to vote for Nwoye

National Coordinator APGA Media Warriors Forum, Evang Chinedu Obigwe, has scoffed and hit members of All Progressives Congress, APC for lack of genuine political manifestos, noting that it would be dangerous for electorates to support or even vote for their candidate, who perhaps will flag off his campaign on 20th October 2017 in preparation for the forthcoming November 18th Anambra gubernatorial election.

Tony Nwoye “From the federal level down to the state, APC has failed Nigerians. APC brought dismal recession upon us and hold Nigeria development to a standstill. Do not vote for them.

Anambra state needs a political party that will bring light to the state and that party undoubtedly is APGA. With APGA development, growth, security and economic viability is assured but with APC and other opposition parties we will inherit poverty, anguish and hardship” he said.

In a press release issued to newsmen on 19th October, Obigwe called the APC flag bearer a motor park tout that has nothing to offer Ndi Anambra. “He lacked the required leadership qualities to govern Anambra State. Voting for Tony Nwoye will be the worst mistake the people of Anambra State will make”, he said. 

Recall that newsmen in some years back filled a report on burnt Anambra state properties.

Drawing points from the above; Obigwe allegedly linked the burnt properties to PDP thugs when Tony Nwoye was the then chairman of the party. 

Speaking further, he said that Tony Nwoye desecrated the office of the Executive Governor of Anambra State which he dreams to occupy by calling Governor Obiano a thief without substantiating his claims.

“Tony Nwoye is somebody that has a known penchant for betrayal. 

He betrayed his former boss Senator Andy Uba that brought him to the political limelight and perhaps he will also betray Buhari and other APC bigwigs and supporters of his misguided governorship ambition.

“Men of slippery characters are not good leaders and should not be trusted with leadership positions to avoid taking the state back and betraying people’s mandate.” 

He equally alleged that Tony Nwoye’s desperation to govern Anambra State threw his Nsugbe community into a political turmoil, adding that APGA supporters were attacked by alleged APC thugs for their unflinching support for Governor Obiano’s merited second term re-election.

Emphasizing on the gargantuan support recorded for Obiano for the forthcoming election, Obigwe stated categorically that APC political jamboree in Anambra State will have no effect in the State.

“People of the State are firmly in support of Governor Obiano’s re election. They have pledged to bring him back to finalize his good work in the state. “Let’s punish APC for their atrocities and injustice meted on Igbo by voting for APGA coming November 18th. “Tony Nwoye cannot insult the office of the Executive Governor of Anambra State and go scot free; his rejection by Anambra electorates coming November 18th will serve as a bitter political lesson to him”, he finally said.
