“Being married to a black man is like modern day slavery” – Huddah Monroe

Curvy Kenyan Socialite Huddah Monroe has bared her mind on why she feels 99% of women married to black men are unhappy. She pointed out that ‘black men hate to see their women prosper’ Is this true ?? Well, below is what she shared on her social media ; why is it that 99% of women married to black men are always unhappy? Frustrated, they have low self esteem, looking sad and disappionted with life? It’s like being married to a black man is modern day slavery. From my own observation, most black men hate to see a woman prosper. They hate to see you doing good. Thet hate to elevate you, so they crash your dreams, they tell you all the negative things about you so that you can have low self esteem, Once you have low self esteem, you have nothing left but them coz of how bad you’d be feeling about yourself. Then boom, their mission is accomplished, then they can toy with you anyhow! anytime! MAY GOD FORBID! Emotional abuse is worse than physical abuse. When someone ...

A preview shared on his social media timeline, today, portrayed Davido as a highly skilled commercial pilot who has a lot of money to spend. The movie also features veteran reggae artiste Majek Fashek, whose music career Davido’s character tries to revive. It could be too early to decide if Davido would perform extraordinarily well in the movie. International Friendly: DR Congo Hold Eagles In Port Harcourt

Oleh 9jahive Blog - May 30, 2018

Nigeria’s Super Eagles were held to a one-all draw by the Simbas of DR Congo in a friendly at the Adokie Amasiaemeka Stadium, Port Harcourt, Rivers State on Monday.

The Congolese cancelled out Troost-Ekong goal with a spot kick in the second half of the tie.
Gernot Rohr opted for Nigeria Professional Football League hotshot, Junior Lokosa, and Crotone of Italy striker, Simeon Nwankwo, to lead Nigeria’s attack, while stand-in in captain, Ogenyi Onazi, Joel Obi, Oghenekaro Etebo and Kelechi Iheanacho were in midfield.

Deportivo La Coruna goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho, who retained his place in goal, got cover from Elderson Echiejile, William Troost-Ekong, Leon Balogun and Tyronne Ebuehi.
Nwankwo’s early incursion to bang in a goal on his debut was denied by the cross bar.
Moments later, Nigeria shot into the lead through Troost-Ekong who connected a free kick in 14th minute of the tie.

Iheanacho almost increased the tally for Nigeria but failed to connect a pass in the 35th minute as scores remained one nil.

The visitors were on the front foot late in the first half but they were curtailed by Benfica’s new signing, Ebuehi, Troost-Ekong, Balogun and Echiejile as score stood at one nil at half time.
On resumption for the second half, Rohr brought on Mikel Agu, Ola Aina and Alex Iwobi for Iheanacho, Echiejile and Joel Obi.

The substitutions almost paid off as Simba Stars managed to keep Nwankwo’s flip on from rolling into the net.

From then on, the Crotone’s striker and Etebo become the nightmare of the visitors.
Kenneth Omeruo and Ahmed Musa also got a feel of the game when they both came on for Balogun and Lokosa in the second half.

Shehu Abdullahi also replaced Ebuehi who was withdrawn due to a knock.
The Congolese equalised from a spot kick after Ola Aina pulled down his opponent in the vital area in 77th minute of the tie.

Musa posed to be a threat but he was put at bay by the Congolese as the tie ended at one all.
The three-time African champions will jet out on Tuesday to keep a date with England in another friendly at Wembley Stadium on June 2

JAMB Policy Meeting to Decide 2018 Admission Cut-Off holds on June 26th

Oleh 9jahive Blog - May 30, 2018
We're pleased to announce that the Admission Policy Meeting, with JAMB, the Minister of Education and all stakeholders in the sector, has been scheduled to hold on 26th June, 2018.
In the meeting, crucial 2018 admission guidelines, including the determination of the official 2018 Admission Cut-off Marks for various institutions will be determined.

Mr. Fabian Benjamin, the head of Media for JAMB had cautioned institutions that advertised admission into their schools before this meeting, stating that they had breached the constitutional guidelines for admissions. He stated that “a  list of institutions that breached this rule are being compiled by the board and to be forwarded to the appropriate body for sanction.”

He added that institutions planning to advertise admission before this policy meeting, should suspend such actions, pointing out that the policy meeting is being held early enough in the year to allow plenty of time for schools to conclude the 2018/2019 Admissions on time.

As it stands, all attention has been focused on June 26th for the official release of Cut-Off Marks for 2018 Admission.

Peace Corps not proscribed by federal govt – official.

Oleh Wakacome - May 28, 2018

The Peace Corps of Nigeria, PCN, says the corps is not proscribed by the federal government.

The Public Relations Officer of PCN, Millicent Umoru, said this in Abuja on Wednesday at a news conference.

The spokesperson faulted a recent statement by the Nigeria Police that the PCN was proscribed by a federal government gazette in 2013.

She said the claim held no water, as the gazette in question was not an exclusive police document to be used as it pleased them.

“The federal government gazette is a public document and not a police diary. If the police had any such gazette, it should tender it before the public.

“It is only the Attorney-General of the Federation that is constitutionally vested with the powers to issue federal government gazette, which must be duly signed,” she said.
According to her, the police issued the statement on the day that the Federal High Court ruled in favour of the corps, to tarnish the reputation of PCN.

She maintained that the said proscription of the corps had earlier been declared null and void by Justice Ibrahim Auta, the former Chief Judge of the Federal High Court.

The spokesperson also said the court warned the police never to do such or even make further reference to the gazette, noting that the police was yet to appeal the judgement.

Ms. Umoru, however, appealed to the federal government to assent to the Nigerian Peace Corp Establishment Bill.
She said that PCN members, who are mostly graduates, would complement the efforts of security agencies.

The News Agency of Nigeria recalls that the Force Public Relations Officer, FPRO, Jimoh Moshood, issued a statement in Abuja while reacting to the court judgment.
Mr. Moshood said the order proscribing the existence and operation of PCN was still in force in the country.
“It is incumbent on the NPF to inform the public that on Feb. 28, 2017, the NPF officers in a joint operation, military and the Department of State Service (DSS) personnel embarked on an operation to halt and rid the country of illegal security outfits constituting national security threat,” he said.
The police said in 2013, the Federal Republic of Nigeria official gazette dissolved and proscribed illegal security outfits such as Nigerian Maritime Security Agency (NMSA), Nigerian Merchant Navy Corps (NMNC), the Nigerian Merchant Navy Petroleum Security and Safety (NMNPSS), Peace Corps of Nigeria and other illegal security outfits.

“However, it has been observed that some of the proscribed illegal security outfits and the Peace Corps are still operating outside the mandate and purpose for which they were registered by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC),” the police said.
Mr. Moshood explained that it was in furtherance of the above that the Nigeria Police, the Military and SSS in a joint security operation entered the Peace Corps head office on February 28, 2017, sealed off the building and arrested Akor Dickson and 49 others in the interest of public safety and security.

Reps say there should be no post-budget fight with Buhari

Oleh Wakacome - May 28, 2018

The House of Representatives has said that the National Assembly does not expect to have a post-budget fight with President Muhammadu Buhari over the 2018 budget.

The House’s position was disclosed by Hon Chris Azubuogu, deputy chairman, House Committee on Appropriations, Wakacome. gathers that Azubuogu said the N9.12tn document was a product of mutual understanding between the legislative and executive arms of government.
The lawmaker added that prior to the passage of the budget, both sides already held extensive deliberations.

The budget was passed by the upper and lower legislative chambers on May 16; which then transmitted it to President Buhari.
The president just has to append his signature to the document, for it to become an Act.
Azubuogu stated: “All the things they wanted us to do, we did. When we wanted to change the benchmark, we all agreed with them; and the reasons for doing so are there. They know and we know.

“(Crude) oil was between $50 and $51 per barrel when they brought the budget. Today, it is around $80. So, we agreed that let the benchmark be $51.
“That was why we set it at $51, up from the $45 that came with the budget to the National Assembly.”

He also explained that the budget was planned to build on the performance of the 2017 budget, which he said, “scored above 60 per cent, unknown to many people.”
Out of the total N9.12 trillion, the 2018 budget carries as much as N2.2tn for debt servicing.

Doctor cuts off Baby’s head inside Mother’s womb during delivery

Oleh 9jahive Blog - May 11, 2018

A gynaecologist caused an unborn baby to be accidentally decapitated inside his mother’s womb as she carried out a bungled delivery on an NHS maternity unit.
A tribunal in Manchester heard Dr Vaishnavy Laxman, 41, should have given the 30-year old patient an emergency Caesarean section as the premature infant was in a breech position – but instead attempted to carry out the delivery naturally, it was claimed.
Tragedy struck when the doctor urged the patient to push whilst herself applying traction to the baby’s legs, it was alleged.
The manouevre caused the infant’s legs, arms and torso to become detached leaving the head still in his mother’s womb.
Two other doctors subsequently carried out a C-section on the woman to remove the infant’s head.
It was ‘re-attached’ to his body so his mother could hold him before she said goodbye.
It is claimed the mother was not even in established labour at the time.
At the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service in Manchester, the mother—known only as Patient A—came to face with Laxman and in a harrowing exchange across the room looked at her and said:
‘I don’t forgive you, I don’t forgive you’ as the doctor stared down at the floor.
The patient then looked away as Laxman’s QC apologised on her behalf.
The hearing was told the tragedy occurred on March 16 2014 whilst Laxman was working at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee with a team of other doctors.
The woman’s waters had broken early at 25 weeks and upon examination her unborn baby was found to have a prolapsed cord, and was in a breech position whilst the mother’s cervix was around 2-3cm dilated. It can be 10cm fully dilated.
In heart-breaking evidence Patient A, who was holding two teddy bears in her arms, told the hearing it was the first time she was due to give birth and added: “I had been for a scan the previous Friday and I was told my son was breech and the nurse told me if anything had happened to my son it was going to be a c-section.
“But when I was taken to the labour suite nobody told me what was happening. A lot of people were talking they kept saying the baby needed to come out but nobody looked at me in the eye and told me what was going to happen.
“There were two doctors between my legs, one on my right hand side holding my hand and there were other people there too.
“I was examined by a doctor but she didn’t say anything to me. They were checking for the baby’s heartbeat and it had plummeted and that’s when I was told it was going to come out.
“I remember them saying I was 2-3cm dilated and I was told to push. Nobody said I was not having a c-section and doing something else instead. Whilst this was going on I was in pain.
“The only pain relief I was given was a spray on my tongue. I was told it was meant to loosen my cervix but I was not given gas and air – I was in pain.
“I had the doctors putting their hands inside me and I had them pushing on my stomach and then pulling me down.
“I tried to get off the bed but they pulled me back three times and just said they had to get the baby out.
“They twice tried to cut my cervix and nobody told me they were going to do it.
“There was no anaesthetic. I said to them ‘it doesn’t feel right, stop it, what’s going on, I don’t want to do it but nobody responded to me in any way.
‘Afterwards I was in a cubicle with a curtain around me and the sister came over to me and told me my son had passed away.
“I didn’t know the details but Dr Laxman came to see me and the baby’s father was there.
“Dr Laxman sat on the side of my bed and she said how sorry she was for what happened but I didn’t know the full extent of what happened at that point.
“I just said ‘it’s alright, these things happen, I forgive you.
“She went away but I started screaming when I found out the full extent – I was just crying. I was upset because of the severity of his injury.
“I would never use the word stillborn, he was not stillborn he was decapitated.
“I was pregnant, my first pregnancy I wasn’t sure what was going on and I was told it was the safest place possible.
“Nobody explained the plan or risks associated. It was like disorganised chaos and I was scared..”
Midwife Mona Chard said: ‘I was aware she had palpable tightening and some bleeding and she was moved to the labour suite.
“There was a lot of discussion but I’m not sure who was talking to who. I can’t remember Dr Laxman having a conversation with a patient.
“I was trying to reassure the patient and comfort her. I remember looking round and people were shocked.
“The doctor came over to me and said Dr Laxman had decided there wasn’t going to be a C section and I saw her pull the baby’s feet and cord and she told the patient to push.
“That is something you cannot forget and Patient A was very distressed.”
The hearing was told the woman was given cocodamol before she was examined and Dr Laxman decided on a natural delivery.
Lawyer for the General Medical Council Charles Garside QC said: “They tried to coerce the birth through traction as the baby was coming feet first followed by the lower abdomen, upper abdomen and head.
“However, there was an obstruction during the birth which proved to be fatal.
“Dr Laxman allegedly delivered the legs, torso and arms successfully but whilst trying to deliver the head, it got stuck in the cervix.
“The attempt to manipulate the baby’s head to come out of the cervix failed because the cervix has clamped onto the baby’s head and despite effort made to assist, these efforts failed.
“Dr Laxman made three attempts to cut the cervix with scissors but Baby B’s head was separated from his body and his head was stuck inside Patient A’s body.
“The doctors had to arrange for the head to be removed. A Caesarean was then carried out – not by Dr Laxman who had become overcome by events – but by Dr C and Dr D, and his head was removed in that way.
“As a matter of compassion the head was reattached so the appearance of the baby was not too extreme.
“The baby was shown to his mother so she had the consolation of seeing him.”
Mr Garside added: “At no stage was Patient A given any pain relief or instructed on when the c-section was being carried out.
“At no point did she try to comfort or consolidate or explain to Patient A what was going on.
“She failed to perform a Caesarean without general anaesthetic at a time when speed was needed.
“They should have carried out a category 1 Caesarean section. The baby had a heartbeat, it was slow, but it was not dead.
“The choice was taken by Dr Laxman to try a vaginal delivery and this was the wrong choice. They should never use a vaginal delivery in that situation.
“New babies are fragile, but this tiny baby was more fragile, and being pulled or twisted could do a lot more damage.”
Laxman, who faces being struck off, denies contributing to the death of the baby.
Her lawyer Gerard Boyle QC addressed the mother during the hearing and told her: “Dr Laxman has asked me to say she is so very sorry and deeply saddened for the outcome of your baby.
“She knows that no amount of words can or will soften your pain but she is hoping that knowing that what she was trying to do was her very best to deliver your baby quickly and sufficiently and she had best intentions at heart.
“She did not intend to harm you or harm your baby and she offers her apologies in every possible way.
“She hopes at some point in time that will make you feel in a way, slightly better.’
The hearing continues.

“Being married to a black man is like modern day slavery” – Huddah Monroe

Oleh 9jahive Blog - May 09, 2018

Curvy Kenyan Socialite Huddah Monroe has bared her mind on why she feels 99% of women married to black men are unhappy.
She pointed out that ‘black men hate to see their women prosper’
Is this true ??
Well, below is what she shared on her social media ;
why is it that 99% of women married to black men are always unhappy?
Frustrated, they have low self esteem, looking sad and disappionted with life?
It’s like being married to a black man is modern day slavery.
From my own observation, most black men hate to see a woman prosper. They hate to see you doing good. Thet hate to elevate you, so they crash your dreams, they tell you all the negative things about you so that you can have low self esteem,
Once you have low self esteem, you have nothing left but them coz of how bad you’d be feeling about yourself. Then boom, their mission is accomplished, then they can toy with you anyhow! anytime! MAY GOD FORBID!
Emotional abuse is worse than physical abuse. When someone starts telling u “You’ve added weight” “You’ve lost weight” “I hate to see you wear make up” those small, small things get to u. And finally you become a puppet…
I’d rather be single all my life than let someone humiliate me. I didn’t come to this life to be a puppet. I’ll love, Fuck and respect my man as a woman should to a man. But there are some boundries a mathafaka can’t cross… go suck ya own D

New Outbreak Of Ebola Kills 17 In Congo

Oleh 9jahive Blog - May 09, 2018

“Twenty-one cases of fever with hemorrhagic indications and 17 deaths” have been recorded in Equateur province, it said, citing a notification to the ministry as of May 3.
It is the DRC’s ninth known outbreak of Ebola since 1976 when the deadly viral disease was first identified in then-Zaire by a Belgian-led team.
In Geneva, the World Health Organization (WHO) said lab tests in the DRC confirmed the presence of Ebola virus in two out of five samples collected from patients.
“WHO is working closely with the government of the DRC to rapidly scale up its operations and mobilize health partners, using the model of a successful response to a similar… outbreak in 2017,” it said in a statement.
It said it had released $1 million (840,000 euros) from an emergency contingency fund, set up a coordination group and deployed more than 50 experts to work with the DRC government and health agencies.
“The action plan prepared by the health ministry has been approved,” an official statement released after a cabinet meeting said.

No new deaths

“Since the notification of the cases on May 3, no deaths have been reported,” it said, without specifying when the first case came to light.
The outbreak occurred in Bikoro, on the shores of Lake Tumba.
All the cases were reported from a clinic at Ilkoko Iponge, located about 30 kilometers (20 miles) from Bikoro, where treatment capacities are limited, the WHO said.
A team of experts from the WHO, Doctors without Borders (DRC) and Equateur province traveled to Bikoro on Tuesday to beef up coordination and carry out investigations, it said.
Ebola is one of the world’s most notorious diseases, being both highly infectious and extremely lethal.
It is caused by a virus that has a natural reservoir in the bat, which does not itself fall ill, but can pass the microbe on to humans who hunt it for “bushmeat”.
The virus is handed on by contact with bodily fluids — touching a sick or dead person is a well-known source of infection.
Following an incubation period of between two and 21 days, Ebola develops into a high fever, weakness, intense muscle and joint pain, headaches and a sore throat.
That is often followed by vomiting and diarrhoea, skin eruptions, kidney and liver failure, and internal and external bleeding.
The worst-ever Ebola outbreak started in December 2013 in southern Guinea before spreading to two neighbouring West African countries, Liberia and Sierra Leone.
That outbreak killed more than 11,300 people out of nearly 29,000 registered cases, according to WHO estimates, although the real figure is thought to be significantly higher.
More than 99 percent of victims were in the three West African countries, although cases occurred in other parts of the world, often stirring panic.
There is no current vaccine to prevent Ebola or licensed treatment for it, although a range of experimental drugs are in development. Early care with rehydration may boost the chance of survival.
Given the lack of a pharmaceutical weapon against Ebola, health experts have responded with time-honoured measures of control, prevention, and containment.
They use rigorous protocols to protect medical personnel with disposable full-body suits, masks, goggles and gloves and disinfecting sprays.

“My second term ambition is not for personal gain” – President Buhari

Oleh 9jahive Blog - May 05, 2018

President Muhammadu Buhari has revealed that his second term ambition is not for any personal gain.
President Buhari who declared his intention to seek a second term last month, stated this when he spoke at the APC ward congress which held at Bayagida Model Primary School in Katsina today May 5th.
President Buhari said the passion to serve and see real changes in the lives of Nigerians informed his choice to join partisan politics in the first place, and inspired him to contest elections in 2003, 2007, 2011 and 2015.

He said;
“I am not in politics for fun, frivolity or to amass wealth, I have always been driven by a deep sense of commitment to make a difference to the lives of our people.
After my retirement from the army, or forceful retirement, I sat back and watched as events unfolded on the political turf, and realised the country needed an intervention for fairness, justice and inclusion of Nigerians in the issues that affect their lives.
After going to the court so many times to challenge results of elections in 2003, 2007 and 2011, and going up to the Supreme Court, I concluded that ultimately it is God who determines who will win elections, and in 2015 I got here,’’
